EL-CELL® develops electrochemical test equipment to enable testing of new battery materials at the edge of current knowledge. We are focusing on lithium-ion batteries, but we also provide equipment for other battery materials. Our product portfolio encompasses battery test cells, electrochemical dilatometers, lab tools, consumables and other customized turnkey solutions for complete battery research labs.

PAT-Cell

The PAT-Cell is astandard test cell fortwo-and three-electrodetesting of batterymaterialsby using the PAT-Core. For connection to a potentiostat or battery tester, the PAT-Cell must be inserted into a PAT-Stand or PAT-Tester

ECD-3 nano

The ECD-3-nano electrochemical dilatometer is dedicated to the measurement of charge -induced strain (expansion and shrinkage) of electrodes down to the nanometer range. The ECD-3-nano has been particularly developed for the investigation of Li -ion battery and other insertion-type electrodes.

PAT-Series

With the PAT series and the newly developed EL software, EL-CELL is the first manufacturer worldwide to offer researchers a completely self-developed system for the research of new battery materials.
It comprises modular 3-electrode test cells, potentiostats and the corresponding control software, which are perfectly matched to each other and thus result in a very efficient, easy to use and highly scalable system.
